Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Code Éclair (NEQ 2271379655), based in Québec, Canada, which operates LazyFinance. By creating an account or using LazyFinance you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What LazyFinance is

LazyFinance is a personal-finance tracking tool. It's manual-first: you enter your own balances and transactions, and it shows you your net worth, bills, savings, and insights. It is not a bank, it does not hold or move money, and it does not connect to your financial institutions.

2. Not financial advice

LazyFinance is for tracking and information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Its figures and insights are generated from the data you enter and are meant as guidance. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

3. Your account

You need a valid email address and must keep your password confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account, and you must be at least 16 years old to use LazyFinance. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & billing

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. For example, don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, resell, or use LazyFinance for anything unlawful.

6. Your data

Your data is yours. You can export it to Excel or delete your account at any time. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process your data solely to run the service for you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep LazyFinance running smoothly, but it's provided "as is" and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may occasionally take it down for maintenance.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LazyFinance and Code Éclair are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll update the date above, and continuing to use LazyFinance means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada.
